Advanced Police Register

The “Advanced Police Register” module for Dolibarr lets you manage the legally required vehicle police book (for new and used vehicle trading) directly inside your ERP, with no Excel files or manual re-entry. It centralizes all legal information related to vehicle entries and exits and generates a clear, structured register that can be exported to PDF.

In a dedicated screen, the module displays for each vehicle a complete police book line with: order number, entry date, identity of supplier or customer, type of ID document, make, model, type, license plate, model year, serial number (VIN), mileage, purchase price, payment method, sale date, buyer, and sale price. Third parties (sellers/buyers) and vehicles remain linked to your Dolibarr records, so you can open the relevant customer, supplier or vehicle card with a single click.

The module also offers flexible configuration: you define which product/vehicle categories are included in the police book, so only the relevant families are tracked (passenger cars, utility vehicles, special equipment, etc.). An option allows automatic creation of the purchase invoice as soon as a vehicle is recorded in the police book, which standardizes your management processes and ensures that every entry is properly tracked from an administrative and accounting point of view.

From the police book list, you have access to a complete chronological register, ready to be checked or archived. A dedicated button lets you export the police book in PDF format, following the layout required by the authorities (table view, “Entry” and “Exit” columns). This PDF can be kept as an electronic record or printed for inspections.
